Fall 2019 - Dalhart Texas
My New Mexico bear hunt was probably one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. The guys worked as hard as they possibly could to get my bear. I watched them pain themselves mentally and physically to make my bear hunt successful. Everyone I came in contact with from Eastern Colorado Outdoors and K-9 Country Outfitters was knowledgeable, kind, respectful, but most importantly in my opinion, fun and excited. They truly love what they do and I plan to hunt with them in the future. I would recommend them to anyone. They will work as hard as it takes to make your hunt successful.
Fall 2019 - Cooperstown, NY
I hunted muzzle loader antelope with Jim Hubbard from 9/23-9/25. We saw lots of antelope and had many exciting stalks. His technique for calling them in close is very interesting. Eventually killed my animal after two full days of hunting. I have hunted all around the world and this was as demanding and exciting a hunt as any I have done. Jim was a go getter of a guide. The lodging and food was very much like home. After harvest care was good. There is an excellent local meat packer. I had to take my trophy to Denver for taxidermy but I believe they are developing some local taxidermy connections. Saw a 185 or so mule deer in a field of milo. I plan on going back for muley next fall if I draw.
Spring 2019 - Aurora, Colorado
Spring turkey season didnt exactly start out how we thought it would this season. We were not seeing birds anywhere. We met up with Jim Hubbard with Eastern Colorado Outdoors and our luck changed drastically. As my brother and I drove home with two birds that day, we couldn’t keep a smile off our faces thinking of how memerable of an exoeriance we just had. Growing up in the area, Jim’s knowledge of the landscape was the key to our success. Our gratitude and respect for that one day is beyond words. Thank you again for everything, it was an experiance of a lifetime!
