At Eastern Colorado Outdoors we would love nothing more than to help you be successful on your next adventure. We want to be an outfitter that appeals to the family oriented hunter/hunters. We believe the youth, and or first time hunter, is the very most important client that we could have the privilege to guide. Hoping that a fun, memorable, successful hunt brings you back again and again on the Eastern Colorado. Each of us us that has ventured into the outdoors to pursue wild game, was led there by someone important. That person or persons helped to install a passion for the hunt and we strive to feed that passion.
In today’s fast paced crazy world it is tough to get enough time in the outdoors and we know how valuable every minute is. Whether your hunting pursuits lead to you chasing trophy Colorado Mule Deer, Antelope, Trophy Whitetails or Rio Grande Turkeys, Eastern Colorado Outdoors is the ideal outfitter to exceed your expectations.
We believe God gave us the outdoors to help bring us back to reality and the real importance of life. ECO is proud to assist with quality time outdoors and making sure we give our clients the very best opportunity at harvesting your trophy.
We control leases that produce some truly amazing Colorado Mule Deer and Whitetails that would be a trophy on anyone’s wall. Mule deer in the 180-200+ inch range and whitetails in the 150-170 inch range are achievable. The Eastern Colorado hunting leases consist of over 200,000 acres of private land, very large tracts holding some pretty challenging terrain. The breath of this remote wilderness is expansive, allowing Mule Deer, Antelope and other wild game to mature to true trophy status.
Eastern Colorado Outdoors is Looking for New Guides
Eastern Colorado Outdoors is always looking for new guides. We offer very competitive pay and a great experience to learn how to hunt mule deer, pronghorn, and predators in a plains environment. Experience is always a plus in this industry but on the job training is readily available. If you have any kind of work ethic and determination to do a good job, we'll get along. My guides are required to do things right by my book or they can find somewhere else to work. My idea of right will be laid out in black and white so we both understand what that is. This job offers a lot of potential with new lease opportunities coming up daily that you might be eligible to run if you prove that to me. Contact (719) 760-9040 or inquire on the website for further information.
We are setup so that when you arrive we can hit the range to check zero’s on rifles and even verify dope charts for those of you whom are hoping to harvest an animal at long range. We realize that not every hunter or hunters setups are capable of long range kills, so this time at the range allows our guides to get to know you and you them, so that we agree on what range we need to accomplish for you. So that when the moment of truth arrives it is a one shot, one kill, which you are very proud of.
This is a very crucial piece for our youth and first timers, so things are done as cleanly as possible to allow them nothing but great memories. Once you have harvested your animal we have local lockers we work with to take care of the wild game meat along with horns and cape. If you wish to donate your meat we work with places so that it gets used by those that need it.
